All Projects
- Modeled and laid out all components, built prototype assembly and fixture, mounted all components.
- Connected all valves to correct plumbing for air travel minimizing pressure drops and airflow travel.
- Wired and connected circuit for solenoid valves, pressure transducers, and flow meter.
- Coded in LabVIEW to control solenoid valves (open and close), pressure transducers (read and display data live, and write to an excel file), and a flow meter (read and display data live, and write to an excel file).
- Designed a fixture for the inverted welder and gripper assembly to support welding membranes onto 4 mL and 15 mL centrifugal concentrator housings.
- Created detailed CAD drawings for machining and procurement, set up the complete parts and assembly, and ordered all required hardware to ensure readiness for fabrication and testing.
- Designed a fixture for membrane cutting using various punches and dies on the Instron machine to capture accurate force–displacement measurements.
- Developed complete part and assembly models in SolidWorks and generated detailed machining drawings.
- Selected and procured all required hardware, then assembled and validated the final test setup for mechanical testing.
- Developed a testing protocol to evaluate the device’s thermal performance and determine its watt-hour operating limit.
- Configured National Instruments (NI) hardware and thermocouples for temperature measurement.
- Programmed a LabVIEW interface to acquire, live-stream, and log temperature data in real time.
- Performed data analysis and authored a detailed technical report summarizing findings and calculated watt-hour limits.
- Redesigned the in-lab stirred cell setup process to improve testing efficiency and data accuracy.
- Established serial communication between an Ohaus Scout Pro scale and a computer using MobaXTerm to verify data transfer.
- Developed a LabVIEW program to automate two solenoid valves, directing airflow into or out of the system based on real-time filtrate mass readings from the scale.
- Wetlab and Applications Projects
- Membrane Holder
- TEER Auto Cable Buildups
- Stericup Pouch Metrology
- Scepter Cell Counter Metrology
- Cell Culture Plate Vacuum Manifold Spacer
- Shoulder Dowel Pin
- Designed two heat sinks to be fabricated, one for an LED and one for a digital micromirror device (DMD) board.
- Selected a fan with the correct specifications to blow over a heat sink
- Created a mount for the selected fan to which a duct was attached.
- Selected a location in a delivery van for a camera and a radar to be mounted.
- Designed two cases for two different radar models. Designed another radar case to mount into a box.
- Designed a sheet metal bracket to mount a camera.
- Assisted in creation of Highly Accelerated Testing Plan.
- Designed and ordered all components for HALT testing.
- Drafted drawings and used FEA
- Designed a box/case for a power connector adapter.
- Designed and 3d printed a shelf partition wall to press fit to a shelf.
- Designed and 3d printed an adapter plate for a buck converter.
- Laser cutting and 3D printing. Fixed and maintained 3d printer (Raise3D Pro 3 printer).
- Light Testing and Designed a LED Board Layout for scene lighting for the vision assisted robot.
In this project, I created a wooden ramp and wooden box utilizing basic woodworking skills. I painted, designed, and placed all the components on top of the ramp and box.
In this project, I am working on integrating multiple robotic car kits using I2C and other communication protocols and wiring.
In this project, I designed and created a screwdriver through the use of Solidworks and a CNC lathe.
In this project, I am working on modifying and upgrading my high-powered computer that I built back in 2018.
In these projects, I created a wooden clock holder, a storage box, and a decorative piece using VCarve Pro, software used for cutting material with a CNC router, and SolidWorks.
In these projects, I designed a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) flotation device, a trebuchet, and an airfoil using SolidWorks.
I am currently designing and creating a custom iPhone holder specific to my car using SolidWorks.
I am currently designing a house using Autodesk Revit based on an inspirational template online which I am modifying utilizing specific self-assigned criteria.
In my job as a member of the Black Hall Club golf staff, I assist golf professionals, members, and their guests, and maintain the course and clubhouse. Through my work, I have identified and analyzed several operations in need of improvement. After presenting my proposed solutions, I plan to design and build them using SolidWorks.
In these miscellaneous projects, I highlight different parts, drawings, and assemblies that I have created using SolidWorks.
